Mariella Villalobos

Mariella Villalobos is an award-winning Chilean-Canadian illustrator living and working between Mohkinstsis/Treaty 7 and Glasgow, UK. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at AUArts in 2010, and worked with many local publications before going on to earn her MDES in Illustration at the Glasgow School of Art.

I was thrilled to get the opportunity to make something that wasn’t yet available in the existing print range, stylistically and thematically - cute cats! One of my own orange boys at home is my husband’s little helper, so we thought taking that to the natural conclusion of giving him actual jobs was perfect.
